Tonto Rim Christian Camp continues to experience encouraging growth, and Summer 2026 was another season marked by God's abundant provision and faithfulness. From the last week of May through August 1, we welcomed 3600 guests to camp. It was a summer filled with meaningful ministry opportunities, outstanding participation in activities, and countless moments where lives were impacted for Christ.

Our activity programs remained a significant part of the camp experience, providing opportunities for fellowship, adventure, and relationship building. Throughout the summer we hosted:

  • 30 Paintball sessions

  • 30 Zipline sessions

  • 39 Archery and BB Gun sessions

  • 16 Lake trips

  • 30 Golf Cart rentals

These activities continue to be valuable tools that help create memorable experiences while opening doors for ministry and discipleship.

None of this would have been possible without God's provision of an outstanding summer staff. He assembled a team of 16 dedicated summer staff members, who faithfully served alongside our exceptional year-round staff. Their commitment, servant hearts, and willingness to invest in the lives of our guests made a tremendous difference throughout the summer.

One of the highlights of the season was hosting our first-ever Program Co-op, which welcomed 180 students. This new partnership proved to be a tremendous success and represents an exciting opportunity for continued growth and ministry in the years ahead.

Most importantly, God worked powerfully in the lives of those who attended camp. We rejoice that dozens of students made first-time decisions to follow Christ, while many others recommitted their lives to Him. These life-changing moments are the reason Tonto Rim Christian Camp exists and serve as a reminder that every camper, counselor, volunteer, and supporter plays a role in advancing God's Kingdom.

As a camp, our mission is to provide an environment where every guest can See, Know, and Experience God. Looking back on this summer, we believe God allowed us to faithfully accomplish that mission. We are deeply grateful for His blessings, His protection, and His continued faithfulness throughout the season.

Moving forward, we see God doing exciting things here at Tonto Rim Christian Camp, The Hope Building is again moving forward and our new contractor believes we can have the building finished by December, if funding comes through. We expect camper numbers to exceed last year, and are on track to make our budget. God is good, and His blessings are abundant.
